Story:
Ruby Gillman, 15, discovers that she is
in the following fabled generation of sea krakens.
When Ruby's mother forbids her from going to the beach, she struggles even more to fit in. She learns that she is a descendant of the warrior Kraken queens and will rule as the Warrior Queen of the Seven Seas, her grandmother, after breaking her mother's rules.
